Terms of use & acceptable use policy (AUP)
Using FFxF services implies accepting the following rules:
- Services must be used in compliance with the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada.
- The following are strictly prohibited: sending spam or phishing, attacks (DDoS, unauthorized scanning, intrusion), hosting illegal content, and any activity that harms the network or other customers.
- The customer is responsible for the security of their virtual machines (updates, access, applications) and for their application-level backups.
- FFxF may suspend a service in the event of observed or reported abuse, with prior notice whenever the situation allows.
Service level agreement (SLA)
FFxF targets a monthly availability of 99.9% per virtual machine, excluding planned maintenance announced in advance. The infrastructure is monitored continuously and a human on-call engineer is reachable 24/7.
Service status is published in real time at status.ffxf.net. Credit terms in case the target is not met are specified in the service agreement.
Privacy
FFxF only collects the data required to provide the service: account details, billing information, and technical logs (IP addresses, timestamps) used to operate and secure the platform.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
- Data is hosted in Canada and kept only as long as required by the service and legal obligations.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by writing to contact@ffxf.net, in accordance with the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada.
